So here I go... today is actually my second day of dieting. Boy do I need to lose the weight! No one would ever guess, including myself, that I'm as heavy as I am.... that just made it easier to continue to gain weight!! A friend of mine that I went to beauty school with is getting married in a week & I hadn't seen her for quite some time. She looks amazing! I asked her what she'd been doing & she said limiting her carbs. 3 years ago, I did the same thing combined with walking 2 to 7 miles a day & working out @ curves 4x a week & losing 65 lbs. She limited her carbs to 20 a day for the first 6 months & now 40 for the past 4 months. She definitely motivated me to get healthy again! I began lowering my carbs yesterday to 20 & I didn't really realize how many carbs I consume on a daily basis til I was limiting them again!!
Thus begins my weight loss endeavor... 20 carbs a day & walking for an hour/day 5x a week!!
