Its time to get serious here. I am feeling so FAT. Yes, I said the F-word. I exercised a lot this weekend but it doesn't completely counter all the eating this weekend. It also doesn't help that TOM is here. Looks like I'll be having TOM during the holiday. Halloween, Thanksgiving, then Christmas. Awesome. Anyways, Thanksgiving was pretty good. Very relaxing. I made my own turkey and it was delicious! Everything else came out great too. My fiance and I cooked and watched the parade. It was perfect.

Fast forward to today and I am a stuffed turkey myself. All the family gatherings, the Rangers game at MSG, and the Jets game with friends, really added to my thighs today. I feel gross and have finally had enough. I don't even want to peek at the scale.

I'm going get back at it starting now. I've packed a really good lunchbag today for the day. I should be set. I'm going to get back to Atkins, but starting fresh in OWL. I'm training for a half marathon and really uping my lifting so I need more carbs. During the induction phase, I was just tired and couldn't get through my workouts. I didn't like that. So when I moved into OWL, I felt a little better. I don't know if I should return back to Induction after this past week or just continue with OWL? I'm going to go back and go over Induction again and see how I feel about it. I'm thinking I'll probably start with week 1 of OWL. It's all about finding balance. We'll see what happens...

Time to get back on track to being skinny!

*Update* Went over the OWL training guides and I wasn't doing it as good as I should have. Definitely starting fresh with OWL. Glad to be back on track. **

Happy Thanksgiving! Turkey is in the oven and roasting! Laundry going, kitchen cleaned, and watching the parade. I even made snickerdoodle cookies while I made eggs and bacon for breakfast. Talk about movin'! This is not my first time cooking Thanksgiving, but it is my first time making a turkey. My first year I just did a breast in the "Set-It-&-Forget-It," and a small ham. Thought it would help break up all the turkey. Anyways, I decided on a 20lb turkey this year! My father, sister, and my two nephews were supposed to come up but unfortunately my Aunt in Ohio is very sick so my dad felt it was important to head out there. So no dad, no sister and nephews since they were all going to ride together. So that leaves 20lbs for my fiance and me. Yep. Can you say leftovers??

Since it was our first just us, I decided to stick with my fiance's favorites. Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, steamed broccoli, and crescent rolls. Oye, this is going to be a tough one. Just going to do my best. Eat lots of turkey and broccoli. Easy on the rest. I also have a pretty good workout planned.

Thanksgiving it just another day. I can do this.
