Dr Phil cardiologist told me to get books by Dr Joel Fruhrman, not new but new to me, former best sellers NY, I did , got Eat to Live, End of Dieting, End of Diabetes also Dr Neil Bernard's book on healthy plant based diets.
MY SPOUSE and I were just advised to read books by dr Joel Fuhrman, not new but new to us, Eat to Live, End of Dieting, End of Diabetes, also Dr Neal Bernard's books. We got the books and we sincerely read them, highlighted parts and read those again. Fast forward, 6 months. My husband is now diabetes Free, has lost the ugly gut beansnrice belly, I have lost 90 pounds eaten morning to night but totally eliminating all animal products. All. Once a month we have an omelet with cheese. Once in these 6 months we had a liver dinner at our fav restaurant that prepares this dish. I believe I avoided a silver bullet by reading those books. A Dr Phillips, a cardiologist recommended those books to me , said most people will not get the message, but that it was worth a try - he tried and saves us both. Good luck with what you have in your future. Sincerely wish I could Tell the World. and that the World would listen. I am furious that no one ever in my life educated me, tried to tell me, what eating SAD (standard American diet ) was doing to my health.
