Back on the wagon today. I've had 4 months off since I got my first new knee in November. In May I see the consultant again to go back on the list for knee number 2. I'm over the rec BMI at the moment so I need to get back under it before May and then in the lead up to my op and then once the second knee is done I am giving up dieting and weighing for ever. I will just maintain a healthy diet and exercise and enjoy life without scales

Got a date to have my first knee replaced yesterday. I had an interesting pre op apt though.
The hospital measured me as 2cm shorter than the hospital did in April when I was there. That meant that all my BMI calculations were out and I was so disheartened that I just cried.
Any, I'm booked in at last for 2 weeks time.
Meanwhile I am still calorie crunching as I am aware that I still loads to go yet
