Takes a long time to turn the ship around! I purposely set my goal weight at 140, believing that if I could stay under 145 I would be satisfied. Last winter, or maybe even late last fall, I started creeping above 145. No problem I said to myself, but the problem grew worse before it became better. The body wants what it wants. I finally weighed in at 143.7 last week, then the weekend. This morning, 145-3. I'm keeping my lower weigh-in as a motivator. I'm committed now for the week, so now that the carnival weekend is over (every weekend is a carnival weekend), I'm hoping I can return to my healthier eating habits.
