Ok found out that this is going to be a battle roayale. Some of my medications it seems cause water retention and weight gain. Prednisone, Ibupropen, methotrexate. It figures. I guess as long as I know the problem I can deal with it but this pound a day is ridiculous.

Gonna scream now!!! Everyday I get up and do my yoga stretches on my Wii balance board I gain a pound or more! I know that is physically impossible and also know I am retaining water somewhat but it is soooo discouraging.
Been convinced I need to change my workout routine. With my limited knowledge probably wind up doing more harm than good 8-9. Gonna try doing cardio only every other day instead of five days a week and alternating with strength. Going from complete desk potato to three miles a day, five days a week, should NOT make me GAIN weight. I am eating less than I was before but my scale does not like me 8-(.
Oh well, at least now I can actually FEEL the muscles in my butt when I sit...

Just had to check I knew that was too good to be true! But then again this may be water. Hella sore from yesterdays workout.
Even so today I will no exercise, I will not restrict my caloric intake. I will keep my food diary but I will not let it rule me. Gonna eat like a pig and start over tomorrow. I promised to do this at least once a week.

OMG!!! Obsessing obsessing! So today I am off and saying to myself.. ooh I will miss those desk work calories so after my morning 3.5 mile Hike I took a nearly 2 mile hike this afternoon. Went to subway. Now my son laughs at me because there is only one sandwich I will usually eat, that is the Italian BMT. I will usually eat the whole footlong and be slightly miserable for an hour. After seeing the calorie count I almost got the club but settled on half of a chicken Teriyaki.
Never knew I was OCD but this calorie counting is teaching me a thing or two. I am trying to restrain from exercise tomorrow but in the back of my mind I know I have a training class starting Monday that begins a half hour earlier than my normal work shift. I know I will be out there first thing in the a.m. no matter how hard I try not to.
Big LOL!! Ok here's a laugh. My kid had gotten a bag of Jalapeno chips and demanded I try them since I like Jalapeno Chips. I took one. On updating my food journal I included that I had eaten half my bag of Lays Light Potato Chips. When I went to put my remainder away, I realized I had not even opened them. One taste and I thought I'd eaten a bag of chips.
