First real day of summer for this girl. My daughter was begging me to go outside to go to the park, and later the pool. It was hot. I think it was good for me but you know, they don't have "pushing toddler on swing" as an option under exercises, or playing in any such way at all. We did swim for a good hour and half. Learned that my sunscreen that i used on myself (and not my daughter thankfully) didnt work very well. I wanted some color and I got it, red. Sweat about half my body weight today too. my god this humidity! hoping it will help me lose some weight, lol.

Well I could have had more fruit to my diet today, and maybe more veggies. I went shopping today and I am excited to eat some hummus I found at Fresh Market. I think I just had to have some gelato. It's been too long since I had some! I tried roasting some carrots, and I did not like the way they came out. I think I'll just stick with steamed and drizzled with honey and pepper. Chicken was good. Shared with my daughter so I wouldn't get so much. She loves my chicken. Now what should I make for dinner tomorrow? I'm thinking tacos, but I might need to ask the 4 year old first. :)

If my husband can do it, so can I! He is determined to eat better (this happens every once in while) so i thought I would really try too. I've gotten better from what I use to eat but I've gotten lazy. I think I need to make sure I work out too.
