Today is the official Day #1.

Excuses:
I'll be going to the gym today with a co-worker to exercise after work. I'm still not certain if I'll be modifying my eating habits for today. I like to do that when I can start fresh and I still have a lot of left/over food and snacks to use up. I may try to finish those off tonight and then start fresh tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on how much I still have left over after tonight. Right now, I am having a salad for lunch (like I always do), that counts for something, right??

Motivation:
Jess and I had a fabulous weekend, just hanging out as a couple. We went to a friend's 50th bday party and stayed out overnight. Being out amongst all the female partygoers around my age and seeing how the were getting away with all the form fitting dresses and ultimate heels just reminded me why I want to do this. I still remember every poor decision that I've made over the last 5 years that have contributed to where I am now. I also still remember the last two times I was successful at loosing a significant amount of weight...how good I felt...how good I looked. I really, really want to get back there...and stay there!! I have to do this.
