bummed. haven't been able to avoid sugar this weekend, even to a point that my child won a cake walk and came home with my favorite type of cake... but the good news is that I have again cut out coffee which will be great for me, so cutting out the sugar again is next. back to it! onward and downward!

Pretty thrilled with my weight! Had some surgery about a month ago and haven't been making smart food choices AT ALL so this is exciting. Now it's time to get back on THM!! Wootwoot! Hopefully I can drop another 15 the same way I did the last 15, and hopefully I can do it before Halloween. Pushing it I know, but one can always hope!
Interesting side effect from the surgery though is that my taste in food has changed and.. it saddens me deep down in NY soul to admit... I no longer like bacon. I seriously don't know what to do with myself over it. I've had a love affair with bacon my entire life and now all I taste is nastiness. Hopefully that comes back... the rest if the changes I can live with, but BACON?!? WHYYYYYY??

Had surgery 2 days ago, so that was fun. My body is still feeling a bit wiggy, but I need to start eating some good nutrition again to get myself healed. The week and a half before surgery I totally wasn't paying attention to what I was eating, as we were building this huge stone fireplace in our backyard. By the time I was hungry it was WAY past time and we were SO sweaty we weren't really hungry - so pros and cons I guess? But MAN that was a workout! this woman was NOT built for that level of physical labor! I do feel stronger from it all though, so hoping to keep up that physicality, surgery or not!

Not bad for having a BLT on rye and sweet potato fries yesterday at lunch to give me some oomph for that blood draw... and a late slice of pizza for dinner because I was whipped from the blood draw! ha! glad yesterday is over, looking forward to continue moving toward my goals.

Y'all.... I'm burned out. So freaking burned out. And my body is wigging because I'm on day 3 of my period. I am stressed about all these pre-op appointments today for a procedure to address the anemia-causing periods I'm having next week. I am losing focus and feel like I am drowning because of this and everything else going on. It's nuts. And I see it in my mood, my weight, my cravings.... I hate it. I just want to sleep until September. 😞
