Good morning, FS Fam!
While trying to get my mojo back, I've been trying to remember EXACTLY what I was doing during the time that I was feeling so AWESOME. It's coming back piece by piece. After watching a podcast by Dr. Issac Jones (thanks Sugar Waffle for pointing me in his direction), I realized that I had stopped grounding/earthing. Dave Asprey encourages it also. I do believe that is a big part of what I have been missing this go around. Does anyone else "ground"?
It sounds kind of nutty, so I thought I would share some science behind it.

Just getting back from a wonderful haul of fresh grass fed beef, milk, butter; free ranged chicken & eggs, organic veggies, sweet potatoes, and a few fruits (fruit for the kids).
I also found some VERY pleasant organic decaf coffee. It tastes a lot better than the other decafs I've tried. I'm not missing the caffeine as much as I thought I would. I think I was more concerned with the taste change more than the actual caffeine.
Sitting here waiting on my version of stuffed bell pepper to finish cooking. Ummm Ummm... They smell good!

So... I just found out that caffeine may make it easier (not cause, but make it easier) to get UTI's. God, I've been struggling with this problem for so long. I guess I'll have to give it up. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to my best friend. I'm in a serous "lost my best friend. Funeral mode" right now. What a funk I'm in...*sighs* Caffeine was like one of the last few food buddies I had left. A moment of silence needed...lol.

Good morning, everyone! :)
I guess it's off to the dr. today for another blood panel. I'm only going so my nurse practitioner will stop harassing me...lol. When I told her I was doing a HFLC diet, she immediately ordered blood work every 6 months. Like I told her, "If this WOE is wrong, I don't wanna be right." I have came off of high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression meds. I am also no longer pre-diabetic. Not to mention the weight loss. I really don't know what else she wants, unless it's that I be a lab rat...lol.
