I did a really great job eating yesterday until I decided to down a brownie sundae. No regrets, it was yummy and I had a fun ice cream date with my husband at a really cool local farm. Rainy day again today, I rode 7 miles on my bike yesterday so probably more today.

Weigh-in: 187.9 lb

Despite the rainy day yesterday, I still managed to get in some good exercise. I rode 11 miles on my stationary bike and did some home repairs . I made the mistake of eating some marshmallow Fluff (it’s a regional thing I think). 2tbs for 40 cal isn’t bad but I ended up eating half the darn jar because it was sooooo good. If there is a long enough break in the rain I think I will take a little hike in the woods today. Otherwise, my bike is calling my name.

It is pouring rain so I am hitting my bike today (in jammies). I have a dog walk (my Summer job) later so I will try to make it uphill to make up for being short.
I found a momma and several wild kittens living in the stream bank in my backyard… so darn cute!

Feeling pretty good after a 20 mile ride on my stationary bike and a 2 mile walk yesterday. My body isn’t craving sugar and carbs anymore (ugh, hormones) and I had a really yummy breakfast of scrambled egg whites with riced cauliflower and cabbage. It’s already rainy so I will take a short ride (5 miles and then do some cleaning. Today I am focusing on drinking lots of water and moving as much as I can.

Still cranky. I ate a bunch of ice cream last night because my hormonally charged body wanted it so today I am on the stationary bike ( 10miles so far) while hubby is out riding his road bike. He is on about a 40 mile ride, my goal is to do half of that on my stationary bike. I’m posting a pic of him… he’s what keeps me going every day. His spinal cord injury did not stop him, it made him push harder. What a lucky wife I am!

UPDATE: I ended up riding 20 miles on my bike and then walked 2 miles. I feel pretty darn good!
