Maintenance requires constant effort and monitoring. I'll be the first to admit my efforts over the past two months since my brother's passing have been rocky at best; totally ignored at worst.
I HAVE to get back on track. My doctor's recommended weight was 151. At a minimum, I HAVE to get back to that. Personally, I'd like to be back to 143 or less. Perhaps in time...
I know that I tend to blow it in the afternoon, between 3 & 4 pm. The desire for coffee and a sweet treat hits hard. I need to have a plan to go walking instead, or do something else distracting. If you all have any suggestions, I'm listening.

Back from the east coast. It was a trip filled with love and intense sadness. My brother, Homer, passed away while I was there. I treasure the few minutes I had with him while he was cognizant.
With all the family gatherings, I'm amazed to weigh in with only a slight net gain. I knew my clothes still fit, but I was dreading the scale.
I'm back on track, determined to get back to 143, or possibly 140. We'll see.
