DAY TWO: When I consider what I've eaten this morning and see half of my RDI already consumed I'm feeling a little sour, especially since oysters AND chorizo were on sale today... Paella anyone? At least the chicken stir fries are satiating between the protein and fiber, not to mention my day started at 4 am so 1300 cals for the first 12 hours isn't so bad... OPTIMISM!
Bought some new workout shirts, one of them is BRIGHT YELLOW! My girlfriend hid her disdain for the neon saucony gear, I think she's just glad I'm much less likely to be hit by a car on one of my "night runs". Speaking of night runs I'm ready for some serious hurt to justify the baby back ribs we're baking tonight, plus leg day tomorrow... 😅
After some cookery and desk work I headed out for my run. Being the third outdoor run of the season I was determined to push myself. As my girlfriend 'diligently' tended to our succulent ribs, roasting away, I wove a frantic pace through downtown.
Pushing past limits and coasting until recovery all the while chasing a concrete goal in the back of my mind.
Well it was a good day, time for ribs, perhaps I will find a little inspiration this weekend.

DAY ONE: off to an encouraging start, picked up a kitchen scale, hope to be rather diligent in tracking macronutrients.
A rare day off lends time to cook tomorrow's lunches and a delicious dinner tonight, stir fry is on the menu (usually is, I'm a simple guy) hopefully I'll go light on the oil...
Hit the gym, deadlifts, rows, lat pulldowns hit 130 for 8 on the pulldowns only 9 plates to go 😀. I kept the workout simple i hammered my chest arms and core yesterday and did a lot of dynamic exercises.
Time to carb up for a busy day and a long run tomorrow :)
