Today is day two of the HCG diet for me. I am in the "loading phase" where you get to pig out for two days. Yesterday I was hesitant about eating all the fatty foods you are supposed to eat, but I started to get excited about the things I had in mind to munch on. Then I was so disappointed because I got stuffed really quick. You are supposed to gorge, but I ended up feeling very uncomfortable. I still managed to gain two pounds on the scale this morning. But that is part of the deal and I don't really want to record it on my weigh-in either. Today I will eat as much as possible, focusing on high fat foods, then tomorrow I will start the low calorie diet phase. I am actually looking forward to it, as I don't really enjoy feeling uncomfortable & full. I gave myself a shot of HCG this morning. Not a big fan of shots, and giving one to myself is terrifying. I guess I will get used to it. I'm doing this for three weeks. All I can say is, it better work after all this pigging out...
