Hi all, it's Moon.

I've been feeling like crap, lethargic, and just not up to really going anything. I've also slacked off. I drink soda at work (1 or even 2 bottles!), eating from the WHEEL OF DEATH a.k.a the spinning vending machine, and the regular ones. So it is NO SURPRISE why I feel had, I have so few nutrients! It's sapping all my energy. I made some broth the other day and it was wonderful. It even cleared up a headache. I need to start doing that every day!

Just now I ate THREE yogurts for breakfast. 55g carbs. That cleans out almost all the last remaining carb-laden foods in my house. Keto works wonderfully for me and I need to stop sabotaging my success. I'm posting to be accountable and to start new, good habits.

Hi all, it's Moon.

I haven't been here on fatsecret in about a month. At the time an inebriated driver hit me and I was in a lot of pain from the car accident. (Her court date for her OVI is tomorrow. She pled not guilty and I was subpoena'd to be a witness/victim.) I've been seeing a chiropractor and I feel almost myself again. I was looking at new cars and have you SEEN the new civic hatchback from honda?! If a car could be handsome, that car is definitely it!

In this past month, not having a car meant I couldn't really just go and grab some food quick. So I've been cooking more of my food! I haven't really lost must of anything, but that's because some days I'd overeat.

I'm ready to get into keto again. I was thinking of having steak and eggs or bacon and eggs for dinner. NOM. Today I ate some deli turkey with some homemade mayonnaise! Whole egg with vegetable oil, sweet-hot mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and sriracha. I blended together with an emulsion blender. Honestly I went to sparingly on the seasonings it's weaker than I expected but it still turned out great.

Anyone interested I pretty much followed this recipe from Serious Eats: https://youtu.be/uMzcrTRn3Zs but no lemon juice. Mayonnaise keeps about as long as (or a bit past) the expiry on the egg carton. Trust me, you'll know when it goes bad.

Happy 4th everyone! ;)

I ended up leaving work early. The pain was too much. That means I'm out my holiday day. I turned in requests to have Saturday, Monday, Tuesday off... they were denied. I still need time to rest so I'll try to work half days like I did last night. Today I woke up in kinda high amount of pain in my middle back. God bless these meds they gave me. I'm going to go take another then lay on an ice pack. The doctor had said I need ice not heat.

I'm logging foods and staying mostly keto.

My estranged sister is going to come over today. I have both wanted and avoided reconnecting because it was an abusive relationship and I'm not who I used to be. I wasn't ready to forgive. I forgave but the longer I am away from it, the more I am unwilling to be abused. We'll see how it goes.

For that she is bringing brussels cooked with bacon, and I am going to make a few things. One will be paneer makhani and I'll add chicken and spinach to it. Then fried rice with shrimp (for her). And then probably some kind of cheesy chicken abomination, and ham soup. The goal is lots of leftovers.

Good morning everyone, happy 4th. ;)

A little after midnight Saturday (30ish hours ago), I headed out to the store two blocks away to get a few groceries. On my way back (about 20 yards from my house) a car collided almost head-on with me. They swerved last second. They were driving in the turn lane like it was a traffic/through lane. She seemed really shell shocked and unresponsive so I called cops. I found out the next morning from the police report she was drunk. She has no insurance. I could see it about to happen but I couldn't swerve I would've been hit by oncoming traffic plus I was stopped waiting to turn. Had to pay for the tow to my house because AAA couldn't get there fast enough.

6 hrs after accident (about 26 hrs ago) a friend dropped by. We had the ribs I bought but I progressively felt worse. I decided to go to a chiropractor in morning but they couldn't do xrays so I ended up in an urgent care. Nothing broken. That was around 18:00 by time it was done and so I finally got a bit of food after 12 hours and took the medication. I promptly passed out at house. And here I am 13 hours in the future!

Uber and Lyft for the trips was expensive. But I'll need to keep using them until my car is fixed or replaced. I have full coverage but not rental coverage. I also have a "total cost" insurance with the bank my loan is through. (In the event of my car being totaled, they replace full value of car.)

In other news, I'm ready to have some steak and eggs again. "Keep calm, keto on!"
