I am a 67 yr. old formerly on Spark People. Had several health issues going on (hypertension, Hashimoto's thyroid disease, and type 2 diabetes) and was morbidly obese (@ 4 ft. 10.5 in. I was over 200 lbs.). Lost 30 lbs. before joining Sparks, then another 70 over a years time on Sparks in 2010 and have kept it off. With the weight loss, I was able to get off diabetic meds and hypertension meds. Hallelujah moments.
