Been keeping my carb intake of vegetables to dinner time only to try and get my insulin levels down and lose weight. It seems to be working as I have eaten less calories the last two days without even trying. I just don't feel hungry. Two consecutive scale readings of 60.5kg suggests a genuine downward trend too.

I have also begun using coconut oil to boost my metabolism and detox my digestive tract by taking about a tablespoon a day.

And last night I discovered 'oil pulling' which is basically using oil as a mouthwash but don't gargle, just swish around your mouth for 10-15 mins then spit out. The idea is that the oil draws bacteria and toxins out of you mouth and from between your teeth leading to improved dental health and also improved general health.

I have started with this using coconut oil as it also has anti-bacterial properties. I will be doing it morning and night.

133.4 lb Lost so far: 1.1 lb.    Still to go: 5.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
