Down 3.2 pounds this week and I wonder why.

While I was good and on program for most of the week, Thursday was Valentines Day and Kenn and I went out to a really nice dinner where there were no points, only because I didn't count them.

Friday I injured my left ankle or I should say re-injured the inside muscle of my left ankle so my exercise since Friday night has been non existent and looks doubtful for today as well.

So my original question is why did I lose over 3 pounds this week? And the only thing I can really come up with is the body is a weird thing and has its own way of doing things.

As long as I understand that the ultimate goal is to get healthy and realize that this is not a contest on how fast I can do it then the weight loss and sometimes weight gain are not overly important on a week by week basis. The big thing is stay focused and on track regardless of what the scale tells me.

As I have said before, while I have a final goal weight, the eating right and exercise will not stop in my daily routine. This is something that I will do for the rest of my life.
197.2 lb Lost so far: 52.8 lb.    Still to go: 27.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
