Ok, so this week, I've started a definite exercise plan, and so far am sticking to it...I'm walking at least 30 minutes per day; and our neighborhood is hilly, so an added bonus there. I've also been doing my old shoulder therapy exercises with my Thera-band, and throwing in some new things for other areas of the body. Feels good to stretch it all out!

The other day, DH and I went out to buy new running/walking shoes, and the store also sells those big ol' exercise machines that I've always hated for the room they take up in your house...but, he stopped, briefly to look at them, and came away with the suggestion that maybe we could get one. I was a little shocked, but now the idea is growing on me. We have cold, wet winters here which make it impossible to get out for a walk on any kind of routine basis, so a machine would be so helpful for staying in the habit of daily exercise, and I do SO WANT to make this a lifelong habit, now...so, we'll see! Woohoo! Another great thing is that he's so supportive of the idea...he seems impressed with my weight loss. Well, as I told him, 25(ish) pounds (since October) is nothing to sneeze at, by jove! :)

You're doing so great! A machine is something I'd love - I really like to get outside but have the same problem as you in the winter. Go for it - you won't be able to ignore it if it takes up space in your house :)
