This week is my B Moment.

If any of you watched Biggest Loser last season, you may remember Brian from the Red Team having an ephiany of sorts when he lost little or no weight but worked is butt off in work outs. Kim, his trainer, said it had to do with increasing his workout and not fueling his body enough to lose weight.

This, I think is what happened to me this week. I have totally increased my exercise to include cardio and weight training, but have not used any activity points and yesterday I didn't even us all my daily points.

My body hit a starvation mode and I have gained 3 pounds this week.

I have re-evaluated my food journal and my exercise routine and the only thing I have done differently this week is increase the exercise by almost doubling the workout time and intensity, and not adjusted my food intake to aid in burning fat.

After 8 months of WW, I am still learning and find it is easy to fall back into old habits. Knowing yesterday was going to be a 'bigger type' dinner, (Beer and Burgers), I ate very little for breakfast and lunch ( 7 points total) And then when I sat down at the end of the day and figured my points for the day, I didn't eat 5 of my daily points, and I didn't touch my AP points.

Note to self...."Practice what you preach, and eat all your daily points."

The journey continues....
204.4 lb Lost so far: 45.6 lb.    Still to go: 34.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 3.9 lb a week
