Dang it! Looks like I better start pushing a LOT harder because God knows I really don't want back into the 300 club!

I wonder what I'm missing. I really think I have been doing great with my food choices and I have been keeping up with my promise of exercising daily too. So this brings me to the question (yet again) of maybe I'm not eating enough calories? But I'm really scared to eat more calories because every time I do I end up gaining, but maybe it's not actual fat gain? Maybe I need to gain to lose? I don't know if that makes any sense but I see a lot of people on FS whose weight history shows this. It shows that some people actually gain weight right before a big loss. This is puzzling to me.

Maybe I'm not losing because I have a lot of stress in my life right now? Could that be a reason? I'm sure I will start to lose again soon, I mean if I keep doing what I'm doing I think it’s inevitable. I just have to make sure that I don't let myself get frustrated or un- motivated. At this point I really don't think that could even happen because I have never been more motivated and determined to get this done and start a new chapter of my life. One that I have been waiting WAY too long to start. It's a great feeling to know that this time is different and I WILL accomplish my goals! Even though there will be plenty of bumps in the road (just like this one) I will find a way to get through them and keep moving forward.

After all this journey isn't just about losing a bunch of weight, it’s about shedding layers of your old self in order to let the new beautiful you shine through.

Have a good day guys!

Keep doing what you're doing. I'll share with you what someone shared with me: quit logging anything but resting, sleeping, and your actual physical exercise in your exercise diary. It just inflates the numbers and makes it look like you ought to be losing a pound or two a day. You'll get more realistic results (with less frustration) if you stick to your RDI and just log the exercise. That being said, the weight comes off over the long haul. You may not see a drop at all for a few days, and then "wham!" 2 or 3 pounds is gone. You are doing great; this isn't rocket science; you can fine tune this weight loss thing to death. Patience, discipline and persistence are the key ingredients.

I understand what your going through. When I had first started I was stuck at 289 and would fluctuate 2-3 pounds over that. Then 3 weeks later bam I lost like 3-4 pounds. I don't even bother weighing myself everyday anymore because my body works like clockwork. I fluctuate 1-2 pounds above my lowest weight for about 2 weeks then I loose 1-3 pounds and repeat. Every person looses weight differently so you just have to get used to how your body operates. Your doing everything correctly, you just have to remember that it takes time. When your stressed your body can retain water. Also now that your exercising your adding muscle which can add pounds even though your loosing fat. You can loose inches and have the number on the scale stay the same. It's frustrating, just remember you CAN do this, and you WILL succeed!!
