Well, it's been a week since trying to log food so i can count my calories and actually see what I've been putting in my mouth.

It has made a HUUUUUGE difference. I always thought my portions were small and food choices were generally good ones so it shouldn't make that much difference and the weight should still be coming off....boy was I wrong! The little "bad" choices would put me over my calorie count and so obviously I wouldn't be losing weight that week. So now that I'm aware I am making better choices and the results, I think, will begin to show!
222.9 lb Lost so far: 10.8 lb.    Still to go: 79.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I completely understand!! I was shocked at the number of calories I was consuming before I started logging them in. I now certainly understand how I got my figure. I'm so happy for you that you now have the tools to be successful. Knowledge is power as they say and we both now have the power to make the changes we want for ourselves. Keep up the great work! I couldn't agree more! Honestly, I'm still learning that some of the choices that I thought were "healthier" really AREN'T!!! Keep up the great work!
