Things are going well!
I'm cycling an average of 30km five days per week. Since Feb 6: 482 km or 300 miles. Down 8 pounds.
Still off the booze -- today will be day 18. I miss the beer and wine, but the savings are incredible!
I bought a juicer and started using it last week. For breakfast I have some protein - usually a couple of hard-boiled eggs as I'm heading to the gym so early (6am). I supplement this with lots of water and juice (contents change, but generally kale, apples, beets, carrots, spinach, celery, cucumber, ginger etc).
Most meals are little more than chicken or beef and vegetables. No pasta, rice, starchy foods, anything processed and very little bread. If I'm hungry I'll have baked rice crackers and homemade hummus.
I take the weekends off and allow myself to eat anything. Not that I'm tempted by much. This weekend I have a date square. Whoopee!
Physically I feel good but tried. Maybe I'm doing too much? I sleep like a rock for 8 or 9 hours.
