Well I was bad and gave in to some cravings this week. I almost hate Pizza Hut for sending me emails with new pizza offers. I usually order online so they send them to me. I gave in and ordered a pizza last night. I tried to make it beachy by ordering a thin crust cheese with chicken toppings. Well it wasn't as good as the pan, but it helped with the craving. I also bought a piece of cake from the grocery bakery. Just a simple white cake with buttercream frosting. I did notice that it got too sugary much sooner than it used to. So I think the diet has helped with how much sugar I can intake at one time. So I lost 1.5 pounds this week. Actually, reading that doesn't seem too bad. I thought I had lost only half a pound until looking at my weigh in history. Still, I guess I should have waited until today so I could have all week to make up for it. And now I've got half a pizza in the fridge that I can't bring myself to throw out, so guess what I'm eating for lunch. I'll be good and stay on track this week. I figured I had to give in again. I've been doing really well and I'm still on track to loose 30 pounds by the end of the year. I'm only 3.5 pounds away.
On the plus side, I did manage to loose 2 more inches in both my waist and hips. I was able to fit into some new smaller size 18 jeans I bought from Lane Bryant a couple weeks ago. I couldn't even zipper them up and now they fit. I've only tried on one pair out of the 4 I bought. But I'm hoping this is a good sign.
217.0 lb Lost so far: 33.0 lb.    Still to go: 57.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Hey, how ya doin'? Looks like you are doing great on your weight loss! I'm sure you will be right back on track, you deserve to have a treat now and then! I'm the same way, not wanting to waste food. Certain things that I get occasional cravings for, like ice cream, I find it is a better plan to go out for an ice cream cone or whatever than to bring a whole gallon of ice cream into the house. Because when I do that, one day of treating myself(which we all need from time to time!) can turn into a lot more, like my week-long binge-fest after Thanksgiving. i gained back in 6 days what it took me two weeks to lose, plus I had to go through the not-so-fun detox phase. I guess what I'm saying is it's totally OK to treat yourself, but just be careful it doesn't undo all your hard work. With this diet, eating white flour and sugar can really set you up for more cravings and make it a lot harder. Know what I mean Vern?

A slip up now and again, well, it's bound to happen. What's imporant is that you don't let it drag you down! Pick yourself up and dust yourself off, and GIT up back in that SADDLE, and RIDE BABY, RIDE!!! :) You can DO IT!

I do feel like an occasional treat is fine. With the cake, I only bought 1 slice. That way I wouldn't be tempted for more. I had a 3 slices of pizza for lunch and the rest went into the trash. I was hoping my roommate would be up when I ordered it last night so we could possibly split it in half so I would eat less. Didn't happen. I did manage to do 70 sets on my Leg Magic today. So I hope that helps to counteract the pizza. No more cravings. No more cake. I almost fit sick after eating it, to tell the truth. Too much sugar intake at one sitting.
