I've decided to somewhat follow the Spike diet (eat under my calories for six days, then splurge on the seventh day). This is a system that I think I could follow for the rest of my life. The thought of never again having a slice of apple pie or a chocolate cupcake is just too depressing! Even if my weight loss is somewhat slower as a result, I am happy. I would rather lose one pound a week for two years than lose three pounds a week for two months and bounce back up higher than I started. :)
251.8 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 51.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
