So it's the beginning of a new year, and of course new resolutions. Yes, one of those resolutions is not only losing weight, but also getting healthier! I'm stagnant on the weight loss, so I'm instilling in the help of a friend to get my keister a movin this year, and I'm joining a Zumba class! I also will try to be more regular with my visit to this website and see what I've been doing to keep up with my goals this year, last year fizzled and died by way of the dodo if you know what I mean.
So I gave myself a week off, and decided to start the diet today! Last night was my "last dinner", but it's not so much that I'm not going to be able to eat things I want, it's that I'm going to be able to eat things I want in PROPER PROPORTION!!! That's my mail goal this year, proper proportion. I'll sit and eat a meal that's equivalent for at least 2 servings or more, and that has got to stop! I have a 10 year old for a belly, and that just plain needs to go. So here's to the year of getting healthy, which is appropriate since it is also the year of the Dragon, so I will be able to do this (should is no longer a part of the vocabulary when it comes to getting healthy).
