Yesterday I started the Slim Fast plan. I'm a terrible comfort eater and hope that having set meals a day will stop me picking and pigging out.

Day one over and done with. For the snacks I had a chocolate digestive with a cup of coffee and a slice of homemade wholewheat bread. Not exactly healthy.
212.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 58.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

hi! sometimes cravings are actually thirst. Whenever you feel a craving do 2 things 1.- observe what's happening to you or your environment so you can identify your triggers an deal with them differently 2.- drink a glass of water (or a cup of green tea) it will help. A fact about chocolate: if you eat it dark and with splenda or no sugar, it's actually a protein, definetely not the worst comfort food. Hope this helps!

The best thing i found when i am having a craving for something sweet is to chew Big Red gum. Something about the cinnamon actually stops the craving. And i always let myself have 2 pieces of chocolate a day, like a rolo and a piece of chocolate at work. I work in an office and we have to keep candy in a candy dish for customers, so sometimes it is very tempting!!
