Up again.. but this time I recorded what I ate or thought I had eaten. Having a hard time staying motivated, even with my rewards in the back of my mind. also been having some side effects from the meds that are not so pleasant. But they should pass soon as my body becomes more used to them.
so for this week I am going to try to stay away from excess salt, I am going to try and up the amount of water that I drink. finally try very hard to avoid excessive snacking at night.
alot of new things to try and do. I'm basically going not quite back to square one but somewhere in between 1 and 2.
to everyone who has found success I applaud you. to everyone who is facing struggles know that you are not alone and you can do this.

Salt is a big one. I have gotten used to the natural flavour of food. While I was in the hospital last May every tray came with a pepper packet, no salt. I find I go to McD's and ask for small fries no salt then I dump a couple of pepper packets on them and on my sandwich. I do write down everything that I eat and drink, other than water. I keep a notebook and pen on the table so I see it everytime I eat. It probably helps that I am diabetic and have gotten used to checking my blood sugar before every meal. Good luck we can do it.
