After I ended my pity party, I moved the Wii into our room and found an additional workout that works for me- went down 7 pounds in 10 days! I don't always have time to dedicate to Zumba, so I just do about a 10-15 minute workout with jumping jacks, leg lifts, and jogging in place to supplement. And the little one I watch now has a set nap schedule. So I can throw in the supplement w/o while she's sleeping! Can't believe I'll be with this family for a year on April 6th. Love her so much, and her family is great to me!

We're thinking of checking out Akron and Cleveland in OH in late June. We have been talking of moving out of Philly (and possibly PA) for a couple of years now. I finally told my Dad, and he is nooooot happy. But if we like Akron, that's a 6 1/2 hour drive versus 7 1/2-8 hours for Columbus. He's lucky we're not moving to Alaska or down south! I hate the heat, though! I just want to try something different. Besides living in Wisconsin for almost a year when my bother was born, I've never really been anywhere else. And quite frankly, I need a change in scenery as well as people. Folks on the East Coast are obnoxious and abrasive. And yes, we're aware that a-holes are everywhere. But frankly the PA school systems and government scare us. We don't want any of our future children taking part in this pathetic excuse for a school district. Don't even get me started on our budget impasse that has been going on for eight months... And everything here is so expensive! For going only a few hundred miles west, we can easily afford a three-to-four bedroom home. We're unable to do that here and be in a decent neighborhood. We want to visit before we make any final decisions. Right now, we're thinking either this fall or next spring if we do like it out there. We could work for a year, then we can get a home and get my business off the ground when he turns 50. So excited and scared!

Another big milestone coming up: my conversion to Judaism. It was a long and hard decision. Seriously, struggled with this choice for almost three years now! But now I know this is the right path for me. I have had a strong relationship with G-d for 10 years, and I feel this is the direction He wants me to take as well. I have been going to a Reform synagogue for a couple of years now, and I really do love it there!

It's going to be difficult to leave my loved ones to move and to take this new life in G-d's name. But it's not like we're never coming back to visit! One of my best and closest friends moved to Rochester NY with her husband four years ago. And she was waaaay closer to her family than most of mine I have left. It was hard at first, but after a little while it didn't hurt as much. Plus we get to see her once or twice a year :-) I feel it almost strengthened our friendship. We know and understand we don't need to talk everyday to see that the love is still there. They're going to try get preggers soon, and cannot waaaaait!!

Holy cow! Or holy Wii! In any case, way to go, YOU! Good luck with the move investigation/plans, and Mazel Tov on the conversion!
