Well my weight was higher but I managed to get it down a few pounds. Bad choices, no exercise and very little water... I know what I did wrong.
After events that happened this weekend, my family needs to start eating no processed foods. I have no idea how to start this or what plan to follow. It's not a gluten problem but we both have health issues that will benefit from clean eating.
Any advice out there?

Look at some of my journals where I have some food prep pictures, all very quick and simple to make, you need to go back to the basics: 1/3 protein. Beef, Chicken, Salmon, Pork: 1/3 vegetables - anything that grows above ground, 1/3 Starch (opt for another veggie if overweight/health issues) if not, make your starch complex... Brown rice for example. Cook with avocado oil, add avocados use Olive oil on salads, cut carbs.... No added sugars if it's in a box... Probably wanna pass on it. Limit your food choices, don't believe the marketing hype, variety is not better

I like Mahjohn's reply. Keep it simple and clean. Food does not have to be complicated, A good poached fish, broiled shrimp, roasted chicken, full fat yogurt, avocado, are some of my favourites. We do not use anything that comes in a box, except chicken broth and beef broth. Keep the carbs as low as possible, no bread, pasta, cookies, etc., just good clean food. GOOD LUCK!
