Started going low carb again about 2 weeks ago. Have lost a little over 5 pounds and the benefits are beginning to show themselves. The swelling in my ankles and hands has just about disappeared. The tummy bloating and IBS symptoms have lessened, and my energy level is slowly climbing.

It's tough, but I know I can do this! When I crave rice, or bread, or taters, I'm now asking myself, what are you feeding? Your best YOU, or your guts addiction to carbs? Since the idea of an addiction of any sort pisses me off, it helps me to make the right choice and not feel like I'm depriving myself. The carb monster doesn't like to listen tho, so often times the inner dialogue is a little more aggressively phrased than is PC to share. :) Fingers crossed, the monster gets quieter as I move forward.
