This has been a rewarding week for me. I have been counting calories, not always very well, but pretty sure I have stuck to my limit most days. This being the first week and the fact that I wasn't well yesterday and threw up, has probably contributed to why I did so well. Still, I really am aiming to lose 1 kg a week from now on. I know its doable, and am actually going to start exercising. I also bought this belly dance dvd and have tried it once in the privacy of my room. Boy was I sore the next day!!! Still, its obviously muscles I'm not using so I am keeping at it. (Btw...I have never belly-danced in my life.) But I love the woman's carefree happy attitude. I am looking forward to feeling wonderful again.
241.8 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 94.1 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That sounds like fun! Who is the dvd by? I'm always on the look out for fun exercise. I used to do Just Dance with my daughter but we became sick of it.

What DVD do you have? I have a few belly dance fitness DVDs and always love to discover new ones since I can't afford regular classes anymore. Belly dance is such a great core workout!

It's called Element Belly Dance with Jacqui Lalita. I love how it starts with how to do the moves, then a slow sensual dance, then a belly dance burn. I haven't attempted the last one yet, I need more practice with the first two.
