The biggest problem with going 1800 calories per day is in the temptation not to exercise because you know you're consuming few enough calories to still lose w weight, at least when you're my size. Tonigt we plan to make collies to send out. I really hope I can maintain my weight instead of gain. Christmas is dangerous.

losing 2.8 lb a week

Comments
I also re-started my diet after watching the biggest loser, I wish they would publish how these people can lose 5-8 lbs a week. That way I could be done in 3 months. Like you, I also started with 1800 but then lowered it to 1600 and now seeing results. Weightlifting twice a week for 1+ hour(s) is more effective than cardio since it is two fold: Burns calories, and replaces some muscle lost during weight loss. I am 6-1 and now 252 lbs and know what you are going through, so I am hoping to survive Christmas by replacing on of my 4 meals with a 400 calorie dessert from Dec 24 through Jan 1. I hope this formula to survive Christmas helps and best of luck.
