Only 0.5 lb gained is pretty good for the holiday party week and weekend. I was not good about logging all my food but I have to admit that my choices were better (veggies and fruit on party trays, not fried foods and excessive amounts of cheeses or sweets). Cutting back on certain foods has helped with general health related to diabetes, such as the wild sugar mood swings and overall body functions.
