The roller coaster continues. I knew the previous weigh in would be artificially low due to wine intake and the dehydration that would follow. I am nevertheless encouraged by the fact that my weight is dropping and the cravings for bread and sugar are diminishing. My gut definitely feels better. I am less bloated.

Still need to drop 4 pounds by Christmas, which is looking more daunting but today am feeling optimistic.

Will continue to push the water, keep my food intake real and try and get more exercise in.
167.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 27.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 10.5 lb a week

Four pounds before Xmas is completely doable. You just got started - most diets you can drop 5-10 in the first 2 weeks. Good to hear the cravings are leaving.
