I am getting bored with the foods that I am eating, and since my program consists primarily of low GI vegetables and lean protein, with severe limitations on carbs, fruits and dairy, it is a challenge to stay interested. I wonder if I should be adding a complex carb such as brown rice or pasta a few times a week in order to keep me satisfied. i'm also looking at different recipes to jazz up my meals. The challenge remains to eat every 3-4 hours and avoid getting so hungry that I can't resist eating the salty carb fast foods that I have been avoiding for so long.
I have been fighting some kind of flu or cold so that doesn't help.
I'm going to have a healthy snack now....celery sticks and a cup of hot herbal tea..to hold me until supper.
