sheesh's Journal, 28 October 2009

I'm pleased with that! The first couple of weeks are always the easiest for me. In the past I've gotten discouraged when the lose starts to slow down. This time I'm not going to record a weight every day, because I know I will fluctuate a little.

Now for an honesty check. The stupid reason I quit last year was because I got a new digital scale. It weighed me 9 pounds heavier than my old scale. I wouldn't deal with the fact that it was accurate, as I know the dr.'s scale always weighted me 7+ pounds heavier. It was easier to blow off the dr.'s scale. So I gained all my weight back plus some.

I'm finally sick of sitting on my rear, and not fitting into my clothes. I refuse to go out and buy larger close. I refuse to get into an xl. So when my weekly weigh in request came through last week, I thought oh, well I'll just have to deal with entering the additional weight back on and start over. Guess what, fatsecret let me wipe the slate clean and start over! Yeah! Here's to a fresh start!
