Last week I was down to 176 lbs.. This morning I weighed in at 179.4. But…I am not discouraged. I know why the weight increase. I can’t explain it but for about 5 days I just got tried of trying to do everything RIGHT. I got tired of trying to drink 8 glasses of water. I got tired of weighing myself each day. I got tired of giving up sweets & chips. I got tired of weighing my food and counting calories of everything that I put in my mouth. And although I love the way I look in my clothes since I’ve lost 20 lbs ( was losing before joking FatSecret) and feel better; I just got tired. So, for a few days I ate and drank whatever I wanted. It wasn’t crazy eating just without restrictions. And it felt fantastic - No guilt nor blame.

Now I’m back on my schedule and still feeling good and proud of myself for some reason. 😄 So I’ll check back in in a few days to see how I’m doing. Love you guys! ❤️
179.4 lb Lost so far: 13.3 lb.    Still to go: 14.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It happens to most of us and you are doing the right thing!

Don't let trying to do everything "right" get in the way of developing healthy habits. I rarely measure my food, but I log it all using guesses. I won't eat certain foods anymore, but I still have ice cream and dark chocolate. Find what works for YOU, and let the rest go. You got this!

So empowering to not feel guilt or blame. And why not feel proud. You have done nothing wrong! Even if you did everything, right, our personal experiences of RIGHT could be different. Personally, I have felt shame when I got tired and ate exactly what I wanted! I have some unhealthy ways with food that I’m working through! To overcome a day of not binging could be my right, I support you in tired days, and proud moments! Ok?

OMG I am I. Exactly the same situation. I was 174 a week go but 178 the last two days. No way to explain it. Just need to persevere.

Guys, I am so sorry for just responding to the most encouraging support a person can ask for. Although I’ve been a FS member for a little while I am still learning how to navigate the site.
