I went overboard .. trying to keep myself positive and good attitude BUT all I need to do is STOP OPENING MY MOUTH all the time to compensate myself with food .. stop 🛑, drink water, take a nap, watch a movie whatever .. you don’t even have to do the “positive and good attitude” thing either 🙄 .. I mean, if you want to have shitty attitude it’s ok too as long as you close your mouth, reduce portions, chew 200 times it’s still ok .. pls just stop with the downward (upward?) trend 🙏🏻. Pls

you can do it, Thirteen. Don't be so hard on yourself. If it helps, I stopped years of bingeing by increasing my protein intake. I'm taking over 100 grams per day.

Thank you KatLiz 😊 .. dk if is so much the fullness of diet, I heard protein fills you faster and longer and that can keep you full longer .. in my case I think is that I just eat by distraction, I do stop at dinner and breakfast at the table but also I tend to eat while doing other things: watching tv, reading, etc and also my portion size.. I eat like a man, literally 😅 .. like hb is taller, bigger and much more muscular and at dinner I serve myself the exact same amount he eats . Anyway, thanks for the message now that I feel the crave and feel binging mood has put my hands to good use 😊.. let’s do this! 💪

Give protein a try. This is what I read in a scientific article about 2 weeks ago: it was found that carbs are not addictive per se. The thing is that our body needs a certain amount of protein. If we dont provide it, the brain keeps sending the signal to keep eating until the quota is fulfilled. I used to munch all the time out of boredom or anxiety, sadness, you name it. But all that stopped for the first time in my life. I don't have to make any effort. It just happens. Anyway, here to cheer you all the way to your goal 💚💚

do you get bored or are too much at home? my hunger or need to eat goes wayyyy up when im stuck at home for whatever reason... as you say distracting yourself is always the better option and if you have the chance to go out to do anything or even better a walk the cravings will probably go down with time, you can do it!

Thank you guys ..I will give a try, or at least increase a bit my protein consumption see if that fills me up longer thanks for the advise :) ... I wish I could just get out of home for a walk around the streets, but here is mostly driving everywhere so that probably is not the healthiest alternative ..also to go out implies spending not only gas but mostly go to buy stuff or eat something ..parks are not my thing BUT I am listening and you know what? I'll do the effort, I'll try at least to walk around my block regardless ..at least that would fool my brain into thinking I'm onto healthy lifestyle mode and not to ruin with a craving - thanks for the advise Lucas :) ..it's so nice to have a community around of people growing to common goal

You can do it 💪. Try to eat more protein, vegetables and complex carbohydrates you will feel more full

The truth is so refreshing You made me LOL with ".. I mean, if you want to have shitty attitude it’s ok too as long as you close your mouth,..."

when you spend most of your free time thinking about what foods you wanna eat, what will you put into your mouth next, and the like, it is quite common to feel the need to eat even when you're not hungry at all, even when you feel sickly full! i have experienced it myself, for years, thus the constant up and down that kept me between 58kg - 53kg for so long. what i found the most useful in my case to set a routine (habits and similar foods everyday), find hobbies that keep you interested and distra distracted when you are, and most importantly switch binge eating for other, healthier coping mechanisms like journaling, exercising, meditating, going for a walk, spending quality time with your loved ones... there's just so much to enjoy in life! and remember: eat to live, don't live to eat

hang in there, try new things to start eating mindfully at your pace. Regular exercise, eating/cooking at specific hours, maybe fasting(I stopped binging, eating garbage, and it make it easier to prepare balanceated meals thoughtfully), rest properly, having enough water. Just dont go nutz, try to write an small objective that you can achive in a week or so(drinking a glass of water before eating, exercise 3 times a week, and so on)and see if watever you decide to do works for u. don't freak out you can fuck up there will be another thing to try

whoa! Hold your horses! I am committed member of this community, not an outsider 🧐. And don't rebel-province me, mister. I am from the full- blown badass Republic of Uruguay. Mind your tongue, thank you very much 😤 ( 😉😂).

Se puede elegir a comunidad donde escribir, tal vez se equivoco
07 Jan 23 by member: LucasOscar
