Day 22 - A fairly large blip upwards partially due to me having a fail day with the diet - I had 1/2 of a pasty and beans for lunch that totted up to over 700 calories! Even then I still felt hungry. I appear to have got conditioned to coping with a small breakfast (160cals) and lunch (400cals) then a larger evening meal (1200) plus the odd snack (250cals).

Going forward I will try and resist offers of a larger lunch. Because I know a filling two course proper sized evening meal is coming.

Other news -After three days the broadband in the village is back on. But the washing machine delivery that was due last Friday was put back over two weeks to 9th March I was told it was only because of the storms but frankly I found that difficult to believe, more likely a stock mess up - In the end I have bought one from different supplier that's due on Thursday and cancelled the original order. Fingers crossed that turns out OK.

Gardening wise. The broad beans are sprouting in the greenhouse and chillis, tomatoes and aubergines are growing well indoor. Also some thing new for me to try today is starting potatoes in pots in the greenhouse for an early crop.
Today I'm planning a run whilst Claire goes swimming.

Stay safe
