A little bit of weight creep upwards, not unexpected at the end of a diet. My measured calorie deficit is very close to zero this month and my waist size is definitely still reducing so I am not entirely sure whats causing the increase. At the end of my 2017 diet I gained loads immediately, 5.6kg in the first two months afterwards and it's not something I want to repeat. So a week of being careful is called for so that I can hopefully end the month without a weight gain. Next month being December will be a difficult one so I'm thinking of trying to bank a decent deficit in the first three weeks. Do any of you have any Christmas diet expertise to share?

I have been out this morning and picked some leeks, swiss chard, celery and celeriac- It's very cold.

On Sunday I nearly ended up in trouble. At 3PM I went for run in some nearby woods and managed to get a quite lost (because a dog walker misdirected me), then as sun went down and the temperature dropped significantly I ran out of energy. Then started walking and then got myself extremely cold and ended up phoning Claire to come and get me. Lesson learned and I have dug out some tracksuit bottoms and won't be doing new routes late in the day in winter anymore.

My exercise plan today is to go for a 10K run at some point I have a weekly running target of 50 km to complete before Sunday 28th.
