I started a program of organic veggies and fruits, 1400 calories a day and gained from 152 to 176 that was on here, I changed my program to 900 calories and have lost one pound in a week ,,this was my first week changing my program and I am trying the paleo diet somewhat, it eliminates , dairy, legumes, grains. mostly you eat meat, veggies and fruits, I also looked up the thyroid diet and found that you are not suppose to eat certain veggies and fruits if you have a low thyroid, one of the fruits was peaches, and one of the vegetables was sweet potatoes and I had eaten both of them the day before I started it.
