No worries, I did not fall head first into cake. Although, this a.m. I definitely feel the need too. This weekend has been nothing short of a "triathlon" of training.

Not excluding:
Friday:
A 50 minute, 16 mile bike ride at level 18 resistance on the highest intervals for a total of 641 cals burned

Saturday:
A 45 minute, 13.7 mile bike ride at level 18 resistance on the highest intervals for a total of 634 cals burn

a 30 minute metcon, which included air squats

A 1 hour mile long swim for a total 348 cals burned

My quads are shot and it's safe to say I'm holding a few pounds of water in inflammation alone.

It's also safe to say - I'm probably going to take some motrin today :-)

Measurements are the same
25.5 inches around the waist
31.5 around the hips

And, if I'm completely honest it would likely be 25 and 31 if it weren't for the loose skin, which is pretty marked these days.

I have been allowing myself to eat over the 2000 mark but below 2100 cals/day and I did have a 2500 surplus day on Wednesday. But, my assessment is this gain is inflammation.

why...because it feels like it in every, way, shape and form. But, man I kicked some butt this weekend, even if it was my own. It was pure bliss.

Today, will be a light 40 minute ride on the bike at minimum RPM's with 2X15 pushups with the weighted vest to pump some blood into these shoulders. I may swim later, but it will only be a half mile if I do.

Light and easy, no overkill to be sure.

I do want to write a little more later on about what it means to be this lean. A few have commented that they want to get down to the 115 lb mark. I don't know if that means a "lean" 115 or just over-all bodyweight. But, there are a few things to be aware of notwithstanding feeling cold most if not all of the time and having hunger cues that fly off the charts in ways that blow beyond one's comprehension of mere "craving".

For my part, because the cal burn has been so high - I'm keeping the protein very high right now and ensuring I feed those hunger cues when they hit. As for the cold, we'll just say I'm UBER THANKFUL I have a desk heater at work and that the Galapagos Islands are predominately a warm place to hang out.

Anyhow, more on that later. I have laundry to fold and an easy workout ahead. And, breakfast...oh yes - ya girl is ready for breakfast!!!

Have a beautiful blessed week everyone. Take care
