So I got on the scales this morning and my weight was up 1 pound. I'm not upset by this - much. Actually I expected it for two (2) reasons. 1) I didn't get much sleep because I stayed up way to late lat night and only slept about 5 hours. Shame on me! I've noticed less than 7 hours sleep either stalls my weight loss or causes a slight gain. 2) The Moo Goo Gai Pan sauce was salty and for some reason it caused me to swell last night when it didn't on Thursday night. I think I didn't drink enough liquid yesterday to wash out the salt. Whatever! I"m just trying to track stuff so I can figure out cause and effect here. I need to effective lose weight and follow as close as I can to the ideal keto LCHF for me.

Today was running around getting manicure, facial, haircut, errands like pharmacy and grocery. Notice I brought home lunch from a fast food place. That was at hubby's request (never mind we have a pantry full of food). He had a desire for IN-N-OUT's double double (cheeseburger x2) which we get "protein styles" which means without the bun. YUMMY! By the time I got there at 2:30 pm I was HUNGRY so I got two! This is the problem with going too long between meals, my physical self and emotions will convince my mind that I'm REALLY hungry and I NEED more. Thank goodness for FatSecret. Now that I've input everything I"ve eaten today I see I"m basically done! No dinner. No night time "fat bombs" Maybe some hot tea or some beef broth but that's it. And I should go to bed early to make sure I get enough sleep to shed some pounds tonight.

That's the plan.

TOmorrow I have to go to breakfast at a Jewish (non-kosher) deli with my mother-in-law. I have no idea what I'm eating there. Yet. I'm going to have to do some research now to prepare for then.

Hmm...I can have a deli plate. Or I could have the spinach salad and ask for the bacon to be left off of it. (I"m allergic to bacon) And, I hear all of y'all telling me I could have an omelet. But I really don't like eggs. Occasionally for this way of eating I'll choke down deviled eggs but not an omelet prepared by anyone other than my hubby (he makes good ones that don't taste like eggs but like CHEESE and other things instead). But not tomorrow morning. I couldn't face it. Anyway, I have choices. WHEW!!
