Great job! I'm a tad jealous, as I exercised 4 times in the last 9 days, followed my diet religiously, and lost "0" lbs. I have back problems, too. I too have noticed that just getting up and out there has helped my back, although I still get numbness in my feet and pain in my legs if I really overdo it. Hope that's not the case for you (I herniated a disc in 2003, and haven't been the same since).

I slipped a disc more than 10 years ago, and every now and then my body reminds me of the incident (yikes!) I had a nutritionist tell me to make my calorie count 200 less than what FatSecret suggested. When I have a Good day, I make the FatSecret calorie intake my goal. I consider it a GREAT day when I am able to stay within the guidelines she gave me.

Foxfire101260 -- are you physically able to do the Exercise bike with back- supported seat? If so, those work well for knee and back. And take it slow. I had a free session with the Fitness Trainer at Planet Fitness and he showed me how to use it in the place of the Treadmill on bad back days... that's when I found out my knees would bother me some times. My mom has very bad arthritis in her knees and she loves the water aerobics.

CeCe, good advise from your nutritionist on the 200 less. I put mine 300 less than this site calculated for me. I've only gone over by 30 calories twice.
