Currently, I am within 1 week of my due date. I am at 200 lbs. I plan on breastfeeding, so that should help with weight loss. I am more concerned with getting by son the right nutrients while safely loosing weight. Since I am in the Army, I have 6 months postpartum to get below 163 lbs. My pre-pregnancy weight was around 150 lbs, so my goal is to safely loose 2 lbs a week. I'll be using the New Mommy Makeover Nutrition Guide and exercise plan, so once I give birth, I'll have to weigh myself and calculate my daily nutrition needs. Based on my current weight, I would need to start at 2937 cal/day which factors in breastfeeding and exercise. Won't worry about it until after my son is born.
