Amazing how it can takes weeks to loose a pound and a weekend to gain 5. I always think, yuck water weight. It’s all ok. Lol

Did you eat a lot of salty foods or bad carbs? Those can make you retain water. Alcohol too. A lot of that is probably water weight. Give it a couple of days, should come back down or most of it. Keep you chin up, get back on track and chalk it up to a learning experience.

No regrets, nothing wrong with putting on a little. Satisfying cravings can be as important, as eating "right"..

So, truth be told, I experimented coming off a Keto diet. My one weakness is Raisin Bran. I had a massive bowl last night before bed... and I’m pretty sure that all those carbs went into my glycogen stores (and the associated 4-1 ratio of water!).

Tandr the good news is there is nothing wrong with water weight. In fact if you didnt have any you would be dehydrated and your body would shut down. A big bowl of Raisin Bran does not make a healthy man fat!!

Keto can be rough! I have tried probably every type of diet out there. And this one is very restrictive and labels lots of foods as "bad", when there's actually nothing wrong with them... seriously no amount of bacon can replace a toast with jam.. don't kick yourself!

Experimenting is good. If you had milk on that cereal, that can also mess things up, as dairy is hard on the digestive system (hard to lose after a dinner involving cheese or ice cream, too). Chin up; obviously most of that will be out of your system in a day or so.

Be encouraged...keep pushing and there will be a drop very soon. God bless

Unless you ate 14,000+ calories more than you burned over the weekend, this is not fat gained. 😁 I have no forbidden foods on my plan, just moderation, nothing wrong with Raisin Brand.
