Once I put some sugar and carbs in my mouth it was on like donkey Kong! Get back on that horse cowboy. You know how to do it. maybe you can lay another brick floor in a gardening shed or some such. You'll figure it out.

Thanks Gastropod! As a fellow foodie, I'm sure you can appreciate the lure of "forbidden fruit"! I was doing sooo good without the sugars and breads. Then I indulged and it was so hard to put the genie back in the bottle. I'm getting things back together now. The colonoscopy took more out of me than I had anticipated! Couldn't really continue at the same level of activity and I kinda went a bit crazy with my eating. Things a beginning to get back to normal now. Thanks for your encouragement!

You've got this Bronco. Not a failure, just a set back. :) Giving your body that break to recoup may not have been an all bad thing either. Dig back in and make your body work for you. 😋

Yup! Reset time and you're not alone. It's something each of us goes through periodically.

Thank you everyone for being shining examples of why I am so glad I found this app! The support and encouragement is such a vital component of success. I feel like I am supposed to say, "Hi, my name is Ted and I'm a food addict." (Group) "Hi Ted. Thanks for sharing." Lol!😁
