Now that's what I'm talking about! I told this body before I stepped on that scale, I better see an increase after doing 3 sets of those ab busters without any split sets (and, oh yes I increased the reps).

Only by 3...but, when you have 8 lb. legs weights on each ankle - 3 more reps feels like A LOT. LOL!

Tummy is definitely swole this morning. I've learned to wear my compression top on post ab buster day. Having something help hold those ab muscles in for at least a day or 2 does seems to help a bit with the soreness. Kind of like a back brace, but for your front end, LOL!

The last 3 workouts were good ones, so it really is genuinely nice to see an increase on the scale. I even doused more salt on my dinner last night just to make sure this body might pull in as much H2O for muscle care and repair.

This morning's walk felt good on the legs as the movement really helps to flush out some of the lactic acid build up and relieves soreness a lot quicker than a ibu-profin ever could.

Today is just light walking and rest and a short bike ride later this evening. Have a peaceful Monday, everyone :-)

Compression top? AKA Girdle? Does this fit like a wet suit, or does it make it harder to breathe? Just trying to envision the thing with your petticoat, big feathered hat and parasol. 🙃

LOL! JB I'm not sure it's anything as fancy as a girdle and it certainly isn't water proof. Although, it does provide a measure of insulation in cold weather which is the other reason I wear them. It's more like...hmmm...like a tight spandex tank top only with adjustable spaghetti straps. Like a camisole, but with much better support. I get the maiden form kind. I used to wear them all the time 97 lbs ago just to give my rolls some shape, LOL! About the time, I hit the 130's - I wore them to hold some of my loose skin in. However, at 113 lbs, even the small fits a bit loose and the increase in muscle mass has filled out a nice portion of the loose skin...although, I still have some for sure. The tan one I'm wearing now is one of the tighter compression tops I have and works perfect if the tummy is swole, LOL. They're also great in the summer time when I don't feel like wearing a bra under a tank top. I can double layer and since I don't have boobs - the compression tops holds the "tweens" in nicely. Do I look like the kinda gal to wear a petti-coat? Scratch that...if it were in trend, I'd probably try it out. hehe ;-)

Gahhh. Clothes like that squeeze me right in one spot, only to cause serious blubber squishout where the garment ends. Remember pantyhose? God awful things. Same idea. Rollout over the waistline everytime. RIP. Perhaps you would not look right with the petticoat, but I think I can see you carrying a ruffled parasol on a sunny day with a bit of irony, just to show off the pecs. 💪

I chuckled at the word "pantyhose". Yes I do remember those. But, I do confess to having worn tights all season under jeans or skirts. Especially when the temps are below freezing. I know there's fleece leggings, but those are almost too warm and I have to be mindful about "overheating" due to the MS. However, I do understand how ill fitting those compression garments can be. I don't deal as much with that because I'm short...LOL. Probably, the one advantage for being vertically challenged I'll ever have. I like the idea of a ruffled parasol. I know just the top to go with it...oh, my the neighbors will talk!
