So last week was a success for me. I clocked in a 1.2 loss this past Saturday! Woohoo! So, enough celebrating...I bombed this weekend. It kills me (in a funny way) that I did so bad over the weekend after seeing that the program really worked for me. First it started with my husband's step-mom getting in a car accident (she is perfectly fine, sometimes wet roads and tires just don't get along!) so we had to go look at the car because something was dragging under it. He fixed the car and by the time he was done it was almost eleven and neither of us had eaten. Denny's was calling our names! Now I could have been good and had eggs, a pancake and some fruit, but that darn Moons Over Myhammy is just so darn addicting that I HAD to order it...with a side of seasoned fries. Now I do give myself the credit for only eating one serving (about 21) of fries, but I ate the whole darn sandwich...anyone know the points of the sandwich...here let me help you out...21! Yep, that's right, over 70% of my daily points values in a sandwich! AHHH!!! But I knew it at the time and was okay with it. I also had two cups of hot chocolate...oh and don't forget the tbsp of ranch I had with the fries! So after breakfast we went to get my new horse trailer...in the POURING rain! Then we are hungry again as now it is about 4:30 in the afternoon, so we go to Taco Bell. Now I have told myself that at Taco Bell (because of the whole only going to certain "fast food" places and staying away from the REALLY bad ones) I will only have soft tacos and bean burritos...yeah no...didn't happen. I had a mexican pizza (13 points) and a soft taco...oh and don't forget those tasty cinnamon twists! OY...talk about a bad day! But wait...that's not all folks! Oh no! Talk about a big juicy Tbone steak for dinner around 8 with a nice helping of green bean casserole! Anyone want to say that I didn't bomb this weekend??? Didn't think so. And yeah, that was JUST Saturday! Sunday we woke up and went to the grocery store to get some good food. I got eggs, hash browns and sausage. Mmmm...it was tasty. So breakfast wasn't so bad. Then a friend of mine came over later in the day and mentioned being hungry. Since it was about dinner time, Josh and I decided to go out to dinner after they left. We went to this little diner called "Studio Diner" and I got a Prime Rib Sandwich with Onion rings. Denied dessert (the milkshakes looked to die for btw!) only to find out that my husband wanted Ice Cream...so we went to the store to get ice cream with hershey's syrup to make our own dessert. WHAT HAPPENED TO SELF CONTROL THIS WEEKEND?!?!?! I am not kicking myself because I have to admit, I loved EVERY SINGLE BITE, but at the same time I can really expect nothing but a gain next weekend when I weigh in. I am still planning on going to the gym and although I have not exactly logged everything yet, I have a feeling that no amount of exercise will be able to level out the damage I did to my points this weekend...poor points...
